Worx in downunder

What is it that you do for a living?, that's what people sometimes ask...

When it is not some subsea installation thing, then it most likely is something else somewhere out on the water.

Recently it also involves working as a port captain for heavy lift shipping.....

So, have a look at the pics and find out...

jajajajaja.....an update....

It's been some time, but we finally managed to get an update out....!!!

First of all: we are happy to announce the births of our niece Jael and our cousin Samuel!!!

No doubt you guys will meet them at our place in the future!

And then : We have all of our doors in....miracles still exists!

I know it has been a wile for a new update but here it is. Last weekend (10-13 oct) we went for a visit to Paris. Together with Rudi and Stephanie we traveled by Thalys to the city of light (no not Eindhoven this time). The following photo's will give you an impression of the weekend.

Singapore in July

This time's update is from the Orient..
Having completed the Kikeh II project Els decided that it would be the best to fly down to Singapore to spend a couple of days together and enjoy life...
For instance with a visit to Clarke Quay in the evening....

Of course we also strolled through Sentosa and Chinatown and Jurong and Boat Quay and Orchard Road and....

Petra op de motor

Het is al weer even geleden maar toch wel leuk om even aan te halen. Op 16 mei zijn we met Petra een motorrijpak gaan halen nadat we haar hadden opgepikt van het station in Arnhem. Nadat ze heel goed geslaagd is heeft Emile het gebruik van de motor helemaal uitgelegd en is ze op de motor weer naar huis vertrokken. Natuurlijk hebben we wat foto's gemaakt en zijn die hier te zien.

Home in progress, episode XIV

It' s amazing, the house is slowly transforming into a home, we now even start to get furniture...

The drawer is tailormade and to the size of the wall. The TV set table is a standard item.

Even weer een update van het huisje, we zijn inmiddels bezig om dingen op te hangen en weer verder in te richten. Er is zelfs al weer een kast besteld, deze moet nog gemaakt worden dus het kan nog even duren maar toch het begin van inrichten is er.......

Nog meer werk plaatjes

Even wat minder nieuwe informatie over de vorderingen in het huis. Ook dat gaat door trouwens maar het valt allemaal wat minder op nu het eindpunt nadert.....
Ik ben afgelopen dinsdag in de haven wezen kijken naar het laden van een van de schepen en daar zijn natuurlijk wat plaatjes van.

India

Voor het werk ben ik even op bezoek geweest in India, waarvan hier een paar indrukken.

Dit alles voor een beurs, maar tegelijk ook een beetje vermaak
